Rummanah Aasi

It's been a while since my last hop. So I thought I would hop back in (sorry for the bad pun) and see what's new! Book Blogger Hop is sponsored by Jennifer at Crazy for Books. As you know, the book blogger hop is a great opportunity to discover new blogs and my new blogging friends. I have a blast joining in the hop and I hope you do too.

This week's question is: "What is the one bookish thing you would love to have, no matter the cost?"

Answer: I would love to have one large room for my own personal library. The room will be filled with bookcases, have great lightening, and cozy couches for reading. Currently, I have about 2.5 bookcases at home and I'm quickly running out of room! Part of my goal with my blog is to weed out my collection, which is a bit painful but a necessary evil. I'm slowly getting there, but I get too distracted by new book releases. LOL!

If you're a new follower and found my blog, welcome! I hope you find something that you like here. I'm always open to suggestions on what to read or make my blog better. Please leave a link to your blog so I can say "Hi". And since you're here, be sure to check out my current giveaway!

  1. Sorry I left that comment on the wrong one..my bad..I totally agree with bigger bookshelfs or just a room them. New follower. :)

  2. It'd be nice to have a library. So picturesque. But it'd be best if it had all the books I wanted to read in the room.

A personal library would be wonderful. My bookish wish involves a remodel. Here's what I'd do if I had the time and money.

Ahh, this is the second time I've seen a library in the wishes (I can't believe I didn't think of wishing for one myself, it would be absolutely amazing!)

I'm a new follower and I'll check out your giveaway in a second (although, as I'm Aussie, I probably won't be able to enter ;)).

  9. I knew I wouldn't be along in blogging about my dream library. It seems a lot of us book bloggers have that common vision.

Here's a glimpse of my dream library:

Hopping by from the Book Blog Hop. You have a very nice layout and I like your reviews. I'm an elementary school librarian, but I read a lot of young adult novels. I'm a big fan of both.

    Hiya! Just hopping by~

I agree that a personal library would be beyond amazing. (2.5 bookshelves is quite a bit--you certainly deserve a room for your personal library!)

    I'm a new follower. :)

    Happy Halloween!

I'm here for the blog hop and Follow Friday! I just love these. Answer for the Hop is an IPad or Kindle. Answer for the Follow Friday is: The books I would chose would be Dr. Suess' when she was young then as she grew older I would definitely recommend the Nancy Drew and Trixie Beldon books! I loved them when I was young. Here my links and you can find me on facebook too!

I am running out of room as well! I have 3.5 bookcases, and the small .5 one is actually in my closet because there is no space for it in my actual bedroom. Need more space! (Well, or fewer books, but let's face it - *that's* not going to happen :D)

  18. It is hard to part with books. New follow. Drop by sometime. Kindles help a lot with cutting out stuff you're bot into,

I'm definitely with you on the cosy-library thing. My living room looks like a book bomb exploded in it, I don't think I'll ever have enough shelves to keep up with my unhealthy book-buying habits! A library would be an absolute dream.

  20. I'd like to have a library in every room of my house!! Funny that we all want to be surrounded by books ;)
Have fun hopping around this weekend!

  21. My apartment (and my car) are both rather horrifyingly overstuffed with books. Fortunately, many of them are library books that I am planning on returning.

I lost most of my personal book collection in a flood last year. Quite a blow! But, it really makes you re-assess what's important, you know?

  22. Unknown Says:

Hopping by to return the visit! Weeding out the collection is never easy, but it can make room for the truly lovely, transcendant reads that you really /need/ to keep nearby. :-)

  23. Ha, I think 85 percent of us said library - great minds and all that! I posted a picture of what I would like mine to look like. It's, uh, ahem, nothing much. . . .
